I like the idea, I like the composition... but the black make up is a bit too shiny!
K am requesting a description because this honestly isn't wasn't I had in mind for entries. Also, keep in mind that this is like the "Caught Of Guard" contest but only this time, they know the camera is on them and love it. They are basically a camera whore.Your subject doesn't even seem aware she's being photographed, let alone striking any pose.
i painted her face just to take photos, she has her eyes close so they don't distract for the over all feel of the shot.
Jaw... funny how interpretation is so different for each person... when I see a heavily made up woman photographed with a "blank" face, or trying hard to get her face under the perfect lighting, I think POSING! "off guard" in my mind, are those shots were people are totally relaxed and, seldom, looking quite funny!
I believe it's on-topic...I'm seeing this thinking the same as mperri, modeling type shot, make-up and all...nicely done author
i love it. dramatic and so well done. GL author!

You could have cropped out your shoe. It's a little out of focus and I don't see animal affection, sorry. Welcome to PXLeyes.
Agree, although a cute picture, you should have cropped out your shoe...and it does appear a bit ot...

Nice idea would be better if cropped much closer, but I don't think it's sharp enough for that,
It's actually cropped a little, but I kept the "line" on the top right corner as a counter-balance to the one on the bottom left to retain the overall context of the picture, and also to provide a "yin / yang" contrast between the straight and wavy lines of the leaves. Thanks for your comment and suggestion.
