Looks good, with a double layer that is blured and overlayed you could make the impression of a 'sfumato'. Or just blur around 2 and then edit fade-blur until it looks right.

Thanks for the suggestion Greymval, I got it, but I used paint daubs just to make the lines and forms stand out. I'll try your suggestion though as well as a technique I've been using a lot lately ...

This looks pretty cool. I belive the plants should be a little darker and have a shadow cast on the walls, and theyshould have a continuity, instead of a random grow.

Creating a convinging fire with photoshop is not easy. You did reasonably well. The smoke looks good. I should have opted for one or two large parts instead of several small patches of fire. Good work on the lights.
Thank you dustfinger I appreciate your honesty, in retrospect I agree...but I was practicing making flames and had s much fun doing it... and got a bit carried away.... Thanks for taking the time to comment! Thanks Chuck!
There should be tutorials on the net to help you make realistic fire or maybe if you can find some fire source- pics to blend in. I think it would look bette without no light in the main building but more on the left one. The fire-crew is well blended.

I like the looks of this effect. Would be even more effective with a stark color background...maybe a fabric with a subtle pattern in it. Try it...it'll enhance the image I think. Good job!
Great coloring
Very eye-popping.. a very nice effect!
looking good
nice It's a lot of work doing windows....Lot of time
Not at all, Chuck... All the colouring was done by layer adjustments after paint dubs and film grain filtres had been applied. Thaks
nice job there...
