nice finish, i would have tried something different to the big black boarder. Although it frames well, to extend ones artistic talents try to think creatively ,, in SOME cases boarders distract next time maybe blend another bird with the source and fire complete animal... just an idea GL

it's not really 3D...

If you put on green and red 3D glasses it kinda works. I've done this before. It doesn't come out perfectly (maybe yours does, I don't kow, my glasses are lost) but it does pop! Great job. I wish I knew where my glasses are. Yes, I do have some in the house!

Doesn't work without the glasses...

I have to agree with everyone else, i like the idea a lot, but to be honest without the glasses it really doesn't work. I personally would;ve only applied the effect to the beak, that way if someone does have the glasses, only the beak would pop out, this would be a lot more effective in my opinion. Good luck.

Nice idea, but I think you should work a bit more on the blending...

i think if you make the eagles haed look like stone to match .. then play with the perspective i think you will have a verg good entry author !

Masking of the edges needs work -- bottom edge and the left edge are showing straight lines --- a bit of work with the perspective transformation would also help

don't know why but something just doesn't look right.... match the color, use a harder brush when masking (cause we're dealing with rock here, right?) then we'll have something

Pitty you did not get time to play with the bird texture. The source does not sit well with the image you have chosen. you may like to explore tutorials that cover overlaying textures. GL
