Used a lot of masking here. Used a mixture of burning and dodging to get wear and tear after I made hue and saturation adjustments. (5 years and 3621 days ago)

@CMYK46: I thought about this myself for quite some time. Since the dark side of a half moon does not follow the shadows on earth I thought it might be similar up there on the moon.
Dude. The light comes from the SUN...if the sun is illuminating the Earth, then flip the Earth to match the light source. It ain't rocket surgery...
