I usually don't care for entries where the source is really chopped up beyond recognition (could only tell from SBS) but this source doesn't really have much other potential.

Edges of snake are a bit too sharp, and the apple looks like a pear...but this is still a sweet piece of work!

Jawsh, yeah, I couldn't think of anything else to do with it. So, I basically used the textures from the source. CMYK, could you point out to me where it says "the *apple* from the Tree of Life"? Uh uh, you can't. Its just fruit. For all we know, it could have been a kiwi, which, now that I think about it, would have been more interesting. lol Thanks for the comments, gents.

Author, sure I can. If you're going to call your pic "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" which means "In the garden of eden" the fruit in question is an apple. Not a kiwi, not an apricot, not a kumquat.

I like the entry a lot, the snake and the tree in particular. The leaves on the top left hand corner seem a bit unnatural, but other than that it's a great entry.

Very nice detail. I'm diggin' how well the water crashes up on the horse. Love the cool color scheme. I wouldn't have thought to concentrate solely on the horse, but it was a great choice.

Thank you guys. CMYK, there are clouds in the foreground too. Note that they cover the column partially. The horse is among them, but I forgot to add the horse shadow on the cloud . Fixed

Looks nice, i do feel like if the right side of the column is showing then so should the horses' legs. The wings on the horse are well blended..good luck!

Lighting effect would produce highlights on the throne (lion heads & seat especially) and the floor...likewise corresponding shadows. The rest is good work...

That is probably why it doesn't quite look right. Lighting effects would give it more depth.
