A shadow enjoying a picnic by a pond. :) No external sources used.
Homestead: House and field in background; pond made from grass of field.
Shadows: Lone shadow by the pond.
Mogen Davi: Wine, bread, and glass on picnic cloth.
Keypad: Patterned into picnic cloth.
Paper boat: Paper boat in water.
Meter guard: Parts used for lunchbox on the picnic cloth. (5 years and 3533 days ago)
Used all 6 sources. It was tough and the hardest was finding a spot for the shadows. I actually thought they looked like they were dancing so I tried to make a dance/wine and dine type theme. Hope it worked :)
(Sbs is a bit jacked up, I had previously done the bottle and wine glass and paper boat, and kept it in the images so I can see where I was at and my perspective with the table. I ended up changing it around a bit because there was a problem with part of the glass missing sorry). (5 years and 3536 days ago)
Excellent good luck
really nice idea, and good performance
well done job... good luck author..
Fantastic idea and very very good work.Maybe u have to work a bit more on the letters and the edge of the poster.Any way, this is great work...good luck author
wow! great use of the sources...i like this one...
good one
clever and creative idea
Yes, agree with Nator. Would be nice with a bit of an "old" look. Very creative otherwise.
I toned down the intensity of the poster's colors to make it look more like it's been out in the sun for a while.
Yeah that's nice now. Good work!
Great idea
and one minute thing.. can you blur the shadow of the paper boat a little.. its kinda too sharp..
Yep, I agree with iquraishi; comparing to the bar shadow, paper boat shadow is a bit sharp... just blur it slightly. It's a very realistic work, I like it. And pls, upload it in high res!
yes please upload the high res... we would love to look such a cool work in better resolution and details..
Really nice entry, very well done. GL
The hi-res was too huge. I started with the hi-res version of the 'meter guard' in the lower right corner and then made a canvas more than nine times bigger. Maybe there's a way to make a 'higher res'-but-not-quite-hi-res version [other than using 'Save for Web & Devices' which apparently is limited in the size of original pic it can handle], but I think it's too late to upload it in any event. [BTW I did blur the paper-boat shadow slightly, but apparently not enough. Blending into the existing post shadow was an issue. Distractions prevented me from trying harder before the contest ended.]
For future refference, if you image is too high for high res, make it a little smaller. But this works. GL!
Congrats
Congrats for your first place, Dan!
