Nice concept but you really do need to work on a more exact way of selecting out your chameleon, way too many rough edges. I usually use the pen tool to do my selections and then mask rather than cut out so touch ups can be done. Good Luck

More on theme that I have seen but it looks more statuesque, rather than an armored animal.

Idea is nice, but as jaws says, I'd use real animals to take away the statue effect. Also, things would be more clear without the very dark sides (at least here on my screen). Now I know that's also in the background image you used, but right now the lion kinda fades away in the darkness, while he's supposed to be the subject. Good luck!

Thanks for the comments guys ... ok i made the dark areas more clear and now is more light ... i hope i ll have the chance to change the horse as well.. i ll be traveling for couple of days and i dont know if i can fix it before the contest finish... again thanks for the sujestions

This is a nice image and very creative. Only a few observations. On the shadows I would soften them some and make them more transparent. The glint on the elephants armour says that the man's shield should have a glint on it as well.

Use the pen tool or lasso tool to extract the snake head...dunno what you did here, but it's not good...

Yes, masking is a better way to do the contour of the snakes heads. The edges are too evident, even at first look.

You can also use polygonal lasso tool with a 1 px feather. the edges are really sloppy in high res.

Helmet. It also says that it can have anything to protect you, the box of ammo. I get what your saying though.

hmmm.... the ammo box's perspective is not aligned with the ground, and both the helmet and armband are at lower resolutions to the main image, so they look blurred.

you might want to remove that swastika... can be viewed as anti semitic... and I wouldn't make a haha out of wwii .

I think you are getting armored mixed up with armed. It's NOT the same thing. IMO, it's off theme.

I couldn't care less about the swastika but give him a Kevlar vest or something.
