Awwww poor ball. Simple, but effective. You really feel bad for it lol.

You don't have to link the ball as a source. IMO, seems kind of minimal source used.
i agree w/ jaws.
Well, this kind of situation happens actually; but avoiding a minimal use of source, you could fill the tennis court with many balls...
It changed to contest source ball.
imo, poor use of source

Author, you should be linking to the image information page and not the download. Anyone without a sxc.hu account wouldn't see the source
nice

your tennis ball looks like it's floating, give it some shadow
too simple all you did was add a tennis ball... try being more creative
@ jellopudding
nice entry
The ball needs some slight shadow under it.
lighting needs adjusting try a brightness and contrast layer clipped and then adjust it with the mask -- slight shadow needed under the ball if you want it to be on the ground
I think he's just trying to win his image with the cutness of that puppy :P hehe. Cute photo but right now it is just a copy and paste. Since it's floating you could give it some bluryness to show it's being thrown at the dog, there's tons of stuff you can do, people made some nice suggestions about it good luck.

You did the exact same thing here, the only difference is the author of this one did it with a higher resolution image. I say, calm down and let others enjoy this site too.
i agree with matteo don't forget that you were also a beginner my dear
author, give the ball a shadow, and maybe desaturate the smallest amount (on the ball), look at the other shadows in your photo to see what angle. It'll help make the ball belong in the image. As for Jello, "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"...
ya agree, maybe a newb. Why discourage folks, it is rude. Good luck Author
nice done,
It is a little simple and the ball does look like it's floating. But I'll give you props for at least chopping the ball with a good edge. Try high res next time. Don't give up

well done ... nice image lol ... but ball needs some shadow, and try to think a bit more creatively in future entries, eg. maybe mask the ball so it's behind the raquet or fido's leg maybe? well done though

i see what you are doing but their are to many stars. Try using the levels on the noise layer. it will create less stars and it will look better
If I played tennis, I'd like to do it there!
good job..
Thanks a lot for the comments. I really appreciate them.
U could do levels but for sure play with brightnes and contrast. That will do to stars stand up more...and u could do some nebula maybe...just and idea...good luck
