Is there a reason why there is woodgrain is showing in the mirror when it isn't on the counter? Nice job with the whole thing besides that, love the reflection of the cup and steam. GL

actually dollmommy, I patterned it after the old metal walls they had in diners, not exactly a mirror but a polished metal surface (and I did most of the chopping at the gallery where I have spot lights on everything so the lighting isn't as easy to work with ) It was my first attempt at some thing like this and I really appreciate all the help, I learned A LOT on this piece, thanks for all your comments
GREAT IDEA!!! could use a bit of tweaking but the base design is FANTASTIC!!!

I'm not sure where your experience level sits at author, but if is one of your first, then well done. But I do agree about the shadows. As usual, I'll hold my vote. GL!
This image looks really great when I first saw is low res in the right colum of the site. But when I see it full size it doesnt look quite so realistic. I think the above comments are right. Great idea though, with a few tweaks I think you could have a winner here. GL
pen tool, free transform tool, stroke, gradient, photofilter, twirl for the coffee in the cups. Made the tea from the teapot: clouds, blur, plastic wrap, chrome, fade chrome, than change the hight so it looks larger, then use the warp tool to make it in shape (5 years and 3580 days ago)
great job. I would make the tea coming out of the pot just a hint darker and would put a bit of the background frame coming through the liquid otherwise the liquid does not look transparent. Possibly add a hand if you can find a shot of one.
To add more to the illusion of depth, I would have the teapot's top knob and spout bottom overlap the frame some to make it clear that the pot is roughly half in and half out of the frame.
The tea stream could use some highlights to make it look more like liquid...careful use of plastic wrap or chrome filters could help along with some curve adjustments
Both Brush links work for me, hope they are fixed now
nice ideea, but there is one mistake... the lightening should be mirrored same too, on the can...
Really hot... I have cat's tongue, ouch!

Very cool, great usage of brushes...good luck author
