kevin thanks for the comment but not sure what ur talking about..mood is the feel of an image, and either it has it or not..there's no such thing as "adding mood"..lol..and also, the inside of the flower is not visible to add splashes, but splashes are all over the flower..

But I think the image is moody, I feel sadness and hope at the same time... It's like a "light in the end of a tunnel"!

you can definitely add mood! coloring, shading, texture and more all add mood. the rose looks to be in front of the rain, no rain is going across it at all . the ground in front of the rose has the rain streaks so that it makes the rose seem not part of the image. good luck, great idea!

It’s a great atmospheric image…but I would have to agree the rose dose look like its sitting in front of the rain instead of “in the rain”

the layers have a way of magically getting shuffled! (happens to me too!) i think it is the "layers gremlin" comes and moves things when we arent looking!

Actually erikuri, the sunlight is coming from the upper left and the sofa DOES have shadow, although the author didn't extend that shadow from the back legs and bring it forward, it comes from the middle of the sofa forward.
