Nicely crafted imagery with a pretty convicting atmosphere and shadows, my only suggestion for improvements, is the main tree branch has some white lines that need to be removed. Other than that top job!!

The statue turned into a Mime artist, a living statue, one that has all the time of the world.
Please look at the used sources and high-res before voting. Thanks in advance! (5 years and 3435 days ago)

Great job with the mood & lighting! I might have removed the round base under his feet, and the hat from his head, since he's got the hat at his feet. Just small nitpicks, though...I love this image. Good luck!
nice lighting! love the details. good luck!
wow very good use of sources

Thanks to Nightfate Stock... I wasn't planning on uploading this, i'm not very happy with it, so suggestions are welcome. (5 years and 3440 days ago)
snow on the statue looks blurred on high res
EDIT: better now
very cool (no pun intended)
Might be better to move the little guy so he's not crotch gazing...
LOL.. i'll fix that in the morning.
another awesome work.....! my fav, surely...
In the cold region like that, the shadow is not that strong because of the light reflection is everywhere
I had a feeling it was you author, great image.
You say true rufkut, I had the same.
The image looks fantastic. Best of Luck!author.
Like how you've kept the original colour of the statue as your theme colour and adapted the rest. Gives your image a real natural feel about it.
I never thought about that guy "crotch gazing", lol. I like the guy there, looks like he has come across an old civilization and is about to discover a whole lost city behind him. I like how you utilized the tree pollen and turned it in to snow here.
I agree with EmiK, you guys have bad thoughts...
Author, as always, one more fantastic work came out from your hands...
woah awesome...gud job author...
makes me think of the movie "the imaginarium of doctor parnassus" fantastic :p
Nobody ever tells you.....SBS please! Just wondering why?.....
Disco, my images (in my opinion) are usually self explanatory.. just blending sources and masking. If you take the time to look at the sources that i used individually, you can usually see what it is that i;ve done.
Thank you all for your comments and favourites!
OK. Thanks for the answer, but I thought they were obligatory? (pardon spelling if it's wrong!)
No not at all Disco.. SBS is preferred, but unless the source is totally unrecognisable an sbs is usually unnecessary. Most people prefer to see a step by step guide (i'm just lazy)
A SBS in a source contest is mandatory, when only the given source image was used (doesn't matter if it is unrecognisable or not). If external sources were used, it's not mandatory, but mods can always ask for one (in case there is something unclear). The author here used external sources, so a SBS is not needed.
Great job, author! You are really good in creating a mood and telling stories with your entries. But I told you that before
Good luck!
You asked for suggestions? I have one: Give up some of your talent to those of us who can't do this great of work! We would love you for it!
Excellent job with feel and mood here author.
(although I agree with CMYK about moving the subject just a little bit for the same reasons he gave)
Great entry author,I really like the colors
super
this work is verry verry verry over rated ... imho this work don't express anything ...like as many many many other works.... by this author!!!!...i don't want to offend anyone ... that is my opinion and i think i allowed to express that!!!!...btw author!!!...gl
Wow, I hope you are kidding there genuine2009. Because if you are not, you not only offended the author, but did so with malice and for no good reason.
I assume you have gone head to head with this author and probably got your ass kicked enough for you to say something like you did?
Of course you can express your opinion genuine2009. But anyone can do that. How about trying some constructive criticism. If you think this work doesn't express anything, then what would you change so that it does. It doesn't sound to me like you are here to help. Or maybe this site is just not on your level. There is a really nice site here http://www.cgsociety.org/. Good luck there.
LOL......i have my opinion about that...emiK....that is my opinion about author....and i don't change anything about that!!!...and btw emik....i don't need help!!! thx but no thx..enjoy your site!.. btw ...you are the author's lawyer?
Are all the 3D renders getting to your head Genuine? Relax.. i'm just having a good time here. Besides, if you ever need to voice your opinion contact me privately with something CONSTRUCTIVE. Simply saying my work is meaningless helps nobody, mainly because i won't stop entering contests because you get cranky.
Thanks Randy and thanks EmiK, your continuing support is very encouraging.
are you mad author?...ok....smile!!!! ... tomorrow will be worse!!!....you'll become an artist...great artist!!!....I forgot the quotes.....
cool..
LOL some comment Drama !!!! Great image SbS would have been nice. G/L
Do I dare comment after all these.......concept and image are good but IMHO the snow looks a bit ragged and off colour (gray) snow settles very evenly and builds very quickly, so I would expect to see more on the top of the hat, brim and creases. There is also IMO only a small amount of defused light in the scene most of what you see is reflected light from the environment so the shadows would be almost nonexistent.
Wow. great work author as usual. I would have made the little guy a silhouette of the big guy. Like he's looking at his past or something, but this is my favorite.
It's in the rules & guidelines, and fits for EVERY MEMBER:
3.2: Don't personally attack anyone. (no flaming or bashing)
3.4: Don't make negative comments without suggestions for improvement.
Let's enjoy this site...

Good mood. I would have warped the background to fix the distortion, though.
I like the feel of this image..especially the cool colors..im not usually a fan of the artistic filters, but this is a good one..well done..good luck!

Very creative and well crafted work author! You may want to add shadows for a more realistic feel looks a little flat in places.
Thanks Warlock, great suggestion as usual, added shadow and some color changes

Haha! The image goes great with the title.. his expression is priceless! Super work (the high res is a definite must see).. good luck!
Great idea and nicely done.i would remove the drop shadow or airbrush work from the leg (viewers right) looks out of place....
Thanks for the input guys I'll look at the shadows again they are a pain on this image, as it looks like the picture was taken with a flash.
My mistake.....Yes indeed they are a pain, you have the time to remove them if you so wish,I definitely know you have the skills.
wow this is awesome!
Agreed.. great work, great title. I would actually go with some more shadows for the outer pieces and add more contrast/levels for the cover parts, as his internals(tm) have a lot more contrast, as does the bg-bushes. With a better overall lightning this will look even better.
Hilarious expression and great idea, gonna vote later if there comes some small tweaks. Good work..
Well done...good luck!
This is really great! And I see you had a lot of work here, author... GL!
Great job on a very original idea
Nice expression on robot
Amazing image. Very good, GL
With or without shadows it's still a most unique creation! GL
Added more contrast ect to the body I think it all fits alot better now thanks for the input
