I think your on as far as the idea goes but technically there are place for improvement. First off, all of your source images are way too small. You must not of clicked on the sources picture to get the full resolution. I think the resolution is what really hurt the clarity on this. Second some of the masking needs a bit of work. I wish you luck and make sure you get the full resolution sources next time.

Have to agree about the sources. They are blurry and hard to make out. I wouldn't have known it was a turtle if not told it was there... no offence author.

I like the idea of the image, however is there anyway you could go back and redo it with high res images? it would be a waste to lose votes on this image cause its simply blurry

Hi. For sxc.hu, you'd have to click the download button to give you the hi-res which is what you save, not the preview image. And I noticed you need to credit and notify the photographers for some of your sources so you'll have to get their permission first. Hope this helps.

well i clicked on the download button, of course, but the problem happened when i create t he entry. I divived the progress into another small steps that i used in poor resolution(500x500) now i dont know how to get better quality for the entry

You won't be able to get a better resolution for this entry unless you redo the whole thing. My comment was in regards to any other entries you hear on out. When I download the source picture I first click on the image and then you should have different size option. Always choose the highest image size even if it's not required in your entry. Good luck!

Image is very beautiful - but it's not OOB; unless you change the background, leaving only the leaves that get out of the frame.

If you look carefully you will see the background is darker than inside the frame - however as it is not obvious enough I will shade it more intensely but it will have to wait . Thanks for your comment erikuri

Interesting idea here. I would've liked to see a higher resolution source for the elephant on the left. I liked the fact that you added the tree coming out as well, but it could use a touch up with a smaller brush. Good luck!

looks neat but no high res... would love to see another background behind the dog though to make the frame stand out more i love ood images, they are my favourite

Idea is great but to be more effective demands few more things to work on it...First thing is gray background...my idea is to add some image of the beach or something like this.Frame should be thinner and work a bit more on perspective of the frame...With position shadow don't match,have to follow line of the dog...I will hold my vote...Good luck

When I learned about this technique (OOB), the tut I followed showed an image like this, with a grey background. But it turns the image a little monotonous; if you add a new BG, as erathion said, like a beach, or a contrastant image, like grass, for example, your main image would pop up.

the perspective of the picture frame is wrong but cool idea all the same

ALWAYS upload a high res entry with PH contests. It will really improve your overall score and show up the details of your chopping skills. No less that 1000 pxls wide should be sufice but on average 2000 to 3000 pxls is more preferable.
