EDIT: LOL Author (you'd love the Menolly of Pern.. (Dragonsong, Dragonsinger, and Dragondrums) wonderful pet firelizards in those stories (she Had 9 "House Dragons" and Beauty (the gold firelizard queen) would wrap her tail around her neck and look like a necklace (you'd get some wondrous visuals from those stories.. especially when they describe them singing or when they blink into BETWEEN)

Slushy, I've been a fan of Pern since 1978. I really like Lessa's story, Dragon Flight, but I think my favorite is Master Harper of Pern. Erathion, argggh, I don't want my style recognized. lol But I have a feeling that art is kind of like handwriting, unique to the individual. Hmmm, maybe if I used my left hand for photoshopping...

Nice result. CMYK has a point (not sure though if it was meant as eyes), but you can keep it like 2 eyes (as if he's looking at you), but in that case you have to put the antennas a bit different (now the head would look too twisted). For the rest I agree with Nasir . Good luck!

Nice creation of the insect! One thing with the colors, the background is kinda covering the insect, that it doesnt stand out but gets lost in the back ground. I think it will look more powerful if you gave the insect just one color that stands out. Maybe just silver + a little yellow. Good luck!

You did an amazing amount of work on this, author. All the textures are great, even outside the window. Teddy and vase are perhaps a little 'modernistic' when everything else is very rustic, and vase color pops out from everything else. Those flowers are so terrific, you don't want to take away from them. But, still a great composition. GL
