Wonderful work. What great character you have captured with these three. You can hear them plotting.
The background with it's gritty texture works so well. Almost looks like it was drawn with charcoal which considering that I see them as Coal miners seems very appropriate.

Very nice work and the Halloween mood is excellently achieved. Just one thing: check the reflection of the candle behind the pumpkin, it should be behind the reflection of the pumpkin.
