I think you did a really good job with the train and the mountain. Minor nitpick is the track looks like it's floating and looks like it is traveling into the mountain with no opening. I think it would look better if you expanded the mountain a bit and painted a small opening. Good luck!
Nice idea, I bet they would have to tell each other a lot and good choice for the background, it adds a dreamy feeling to it.
I have a few suggestions on how to improve it
The train and the butterfly are both very pixelated and blurry in the high res. I think it would look better, if you'd replace both with a less pixelated version. You also forgot to cut out two white parts from the background of the butterfly. Next to the front legs and between the body and the legs. And maybe you could also think about the position of the train on the tracks. The "wheels" (no clue, how the English word is) are not on the track at the moment. They are pretty much directly in one line with the white lights, so it might look better, if you either make the train bigger or the tracks smaller. If you wanted it like this, just ignore that part
Good luck!

Thanks a lot for this suggestion, Elke ! I'll work on it as soon as possible
You feel desperate when you feel you 're fighting with an unbeatable force. No matter how big your problems are though you always have to choose between fight or flight. So choose to fight and be a winner. (5 years and 3303 days ago)
Great entry, but the statement makes it seem like a joke. "Choose to fight and be a winner..." Against a locomotive? I think not, but perhaps you meant it to be ironic...
My only suggestion would be to pay more attention to fine details. Some of the things you pasted are now partially overlapping something else behind it. Little details like this will drastically change the overall look of your work. Overall it's a nice first entry, and welcome to pxleyes. Good luck!
My only critique would be to caution against over use of the smudge tool. I know the temptation is great )it is one of my favourite tools) but you have to be careful as sometimes the end result can look "worked". Try the liquefy tool and if you have it the Puppet warp is good. I am hopeless at drawing but if you can learn the trick to blending colours carefully you can get a similar but more refined effect as with the smudge tool.
All in all ... I love what you have created. Very fun creature and love the colours!
I would like to give you a nice critique but I'm not sure what it is and there is no high res to see any details. What's "boom boom robo da"

Chalty thanks for your comments. i did'n used any tools, i just cut & pasted to create a simple robo, if u look in details u can find same image as given in source,
Took me a while to figure it out ... the two little guys at the front are the Robots! Right? They are very cute ... I might suggest toning down the background only because it takes away from your little Robots! It is a nice backdrop but not the best (I think) for this idea.
Love the 2 little guys ... they look like they are dancing!

Really interesting mountain texture! I wish your SBS had shown that technique in more detail.
Mossy I will try to explain it in more detail. I will update the sbs soon.
