Only outside sources were a fine blue geode photo by nasirkhan at morguefile.com (Thanks so much) and a red hat by alice_palace at flckr.com. Girl is my own photo. (with permission). No fancy 'tools' as I just use Adobe PS6, but still an interesting contest. I designed the snowflakes since I don't have winzip to download PS brushes. (5 years and 3319 days ago)
The background is too close to the hair color. Needs more contrast.
I agree with Mossy on the need for some contrast...It would really make her "pop" and enhance the look of her being frozen....Best of Luck
I am not sure you captured the frozen look here as much as you could have but putting that aside for a minute ... I really like what you have created here. Has an almost surreal feel to her ... fascinating!
I know what you mean Arca, i have tryed difrent brushes and effects and I didn like any, so I decided to leave her like this , frozen from something, cold, but not ice.
Its more "winter queen" then ice queen
Thanks for comments.
I'd have to agree, sorry. She just looks more like an extra in an Alice in Wonderland movie. Nice chop but not really a frozen person, IMO...
One of the best in the section for sure...She really have that ice queen look...
I understand different the frozen look, IMO she is more that frozen, not ice, but frozen for sure, we are diffferent so we do different works.
frozen or ice look, maybe is not what we see.
I really love what you created, but she looks more frozen than like an ice person. So for the contest, it isn't really fitting, but as a creation, it is really nice. I know thats what other people have said, so it is kind of redundant, but I agree, and just wanted to let you know that it is still nice, just not very fitting.
Howdie stranger!
