The trick with filters is to make them not look like filters. Tricky, to be sure, but half the fun is experimenting!
With some real ice instead of that water it would have looked better.
For future reference, you're score much higher if you create a high res entry to begin with,at least 1000 PXL wide.

If he had some sort of shadow to make him stand out more, it would have been even better. But I do think this is nicely done, he does look like ice. Well done!
