I see what you're trying to do here, but the reason it does not look very convincing is that the perspectives dont match. The path rises much too steeply when you compare it to the ground in the source pic.

It really helps cloning in perspective. No more blury hard warped distorted textures. Order now at 555- Filter- Vanishing or 555- Alt+Ctrl+V !
Like what you are trying to show with this image...IMO the perspectives are off on your images...Best of Luck
Perspective might be off, but your biggest problem is the chick in white ( or at least her hair).
The woman is too blurry for the rest of your image, which is in sharp focus.
It is a sad scene.... You needed more work on your entry, agree with the comments. GL.
