Great Idea. The hand is a little too bright for me, but i like it.

I agree about the brightness of the hand, and the coffee cup it's a bit distorted, but it's a nice idea.

Oh you were going for old. I think it looks more like she got burned. It is a really good effect, I just see it more as burnt than old age, especially since it is only on one side. That's just my opinion

Not enough incorporation of the old face source. You've left so much smooth skin at the temple, cheek, ear, and neck areas that she just looks like she had a bad run in with a brick wall, not that she's aging. Remove the forehead wrinkles, and paint in some bruising and you can change the title to "after the fight."

It will add a color contrast to the image and maybe a Wow effect.

Thanks for the suggestion greymval. The very first time I saw Medusa, was in the move "Clash of the Titans" the original one. That's the look I was going for. After I posted this comment, I decided to open it up and started playing around with some of my adjustment layers. I think it "pops" a little more.

Put some reptile skin on her face to better blend the snakes, maybe make their bellies a diff. color and.. if you can find some stock with some aggressive snakes, man that would rock.

Disturbing, but very creative! The jaw is too warped and the LH side of the "flames" is a bit too high contrast, fighting the image for dominance, but the overall concept is wonderful.

I'm glad that people like it, I don't No offence man, but there's just too much going on.
I get the skull breaking through her head skin, and the blood and the flames. But why do you need cigare smoke over the fire and 2 of the same rose on top?

Very interesting transformation, especially on the hair
