You're right I've decreased the opacity down a little bit and also masked out some of the moon.. Hope this improves it. And thanks for the suggestion CMYK46 it's appreciated
I know it is a little late (Christmas just takes too much time away from Pxleyes) but I do find that the rain is a little overpowering.
Also, when considering composition it is a good idea to check out some info on what is called the rule-of-thirds or the Golden Section (slightly different theories but same principles) ... here are some links with info on both - Golden Section http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyLjT8sodlw and Rule-of-Thirds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiYHT-JvoqI). To get the texture that hole shape I took the original source image (source1) and copied 3 different bits of it and blended together. The just blended it in and the rest was some blending and gradients....
Hope you like it! :) (5 years and 3232 days ago)
YES! Go watch the movie silly! It was funniest when she made a sculpture outta it and swung it around to show her husband. She made the shape of the head like the way it's done here...hehehe
Love it! Truly fun work!!! Great street art in the background and Jaws is perfect (although it gives me a pain in the neck looking at him ... but only in this picture.

I don't need to watch it since I've pratically got it memorized, but it sounds fun.
I always thought this kind of a frame off "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"
"This is not a good town for psychedelic drugs. Extremely menacing vibrations are all around us."
I think you can use more than one, author. When I came up with this idea, I just intended at least 4 pxl stock. But maybe you are having issues with your computer slowing when using that many layers.
Only nitpick would be to maybe made the 12 stand out a little more. GL!

Thanks jawsh, your right, looks better. When i said i was having trouble using 4 stock pics, i meant finding stuff to fill my scene with, which would look right...i've looked through countless images...
Great comp idea..Thanks.

Oh I suggest resizing the"12" to a smaller size and remove the drop shadow. instead, duplicate the "12" layer, make it black and Use Gaussian Blur to about 4% and keep it under the original "12" layer. It will look more like a stenciled "12" sticker, as if it was put there by a body shop.

Ah! Ya see? Second layer with the gaussian blur looks much better now. GL author!
