Compose an image of Bigfoot, also known as "Sasquatch", as if it were a real photograph of a creature spotted sneaking around or just wandering through the woods. Or just anywhere you can imagine one would be going about on his/her day.
Required level: 5+ or higher. Status: finished. Check out the winners below!
Nickk: sneaking around or just wondering through the woods.... I think you mean wandering through the woods ( 5 years and 3229 days ago )
greymval: No, it meant like : sneaking around and wondering why is he wandering through the woods. ( 5 years and 3229 days ago )
RickLaMesa: no...he meant sneaking around ON HIS WAY to wandering through the woods ( 5 years and 3228 days ago )
jawshoewhah: It would be funny to see one waiting for a bus or surfing the internet on a notebook in a local cafe. Oh, is that off theme? ( 5 years and 3228 days ago )
Drivenslush: a crud Jaws.. now I can't get that image out of my head LOL ( 5 years and 3228 days ago )
jawshoewhah: Ha ha!!!! ( 5 years and 3228 days ago )
jawshoewhah: MODS!! Is putting big-foot in a bus station off theme? Or does he have to be in the woods? Please let me know before I start anything, thanks. ( 5 years and 3228 days ago )
jadedink: From the description "Or just anywhere you can imagine one would be going on about his/her day. "
so i'm guessing if you can imagine one sitting at a bus station, then..sure. it would seem to be on theme as the rules state. ( 5 years and 3228 days ago )
jawshoewhah: I know, but most people imagine them in the woods and I still want mod clarification before I start anything. ( 5 years and 3227 days ago )
Contest Moderator: You can put your Bigfoot any place you wish, doesn't have to be in the woods. The theme says "Or just anywhere you can imagine one would be going about on his/her day." So a bus station is "anywhere". ( 5 years and 3225 days ago )
jawshoewhah: Thanks for clarification ( 5 years and 3225 days ago )
RickLaMesa: we need more entries in this contest...c'mon people ( 5 years and 3222 days ago )

I just noticed in High Res that around the left eye there is this sort of 'thing' that just doesn't blend so I would suggest checking it out... You should see it once you look, it's quite big and goes onto the forehead... GL!!!
Its all about the articles right? I mean...those magazines are so informative. I should have known it was your entry. well done, love his facial expression. If that's what he looks like just cruising the pages, imagine his look with the centerfold!
Good blending here, got only one suggestion, the face seems a bit flat like he is slammed in the face or something.. anyway mayby you coulg give him somewhat more volume ?

for saving the time renderer me d rendered the 3d scene in low detail 600x600 pixels with 72 ppi resolution .sgi image.., the digital image editor use for fixing this rendered image to get the higher detail 3200x3200 pixels with 72ppi without blurring it and convert it to .jpg image...
I don't think a corpse would be standing up, or whatever he's doing. So...do I understand from your response to my first comment that there is no photoshop work involved in this entry?
Totally agree with CMYK46 on both comments, also please provide a sbs guide or at least a proper explanation on what you did..? This could be taken from any site ..
author says:
thanks for the comment.., CMYK46...
u r greatly right that u do not think a corpse would be standing up.., it is just me strange imagination that is look impossible.., just like zombie in resident evil game / movie...
the photoshop / digital image editor work
- get a higher detail from the low detail 3d rendered image
- convert image from silicon graphics (sgi) image to jpeg (jpg) image to upload
is it wrong working with that..?
author says:
thanks for the comment.., Nickk...
me will add sbs later.., and if it is wrong for me photoshop workin, me will edit the entry...
Yes but does just reimaging a 3d render to get a better resolution constitute a photo shopped image, imho it does not and that is all the author has done it seems to me.
Wauw author I see you dont appreciate my comments...
Anyway .. don't get hard feelings but is there any photoshopping involved?
Just a question ?
author says:
thanks for the comment.., Nickk...
what d u mean that me do not appreciate ur comment, as me already provide 2 more steps sbs for ur askin..? isn t it an appreciation for ur comment..? and me do not get hard feelin, if u mean that.., me am just showin me poor art skill here and keep learnin from u or others to raise me art skill...
for ur question, me already answer that in me 1st and 2nd comment to CMYK46.., and if me am wrong workin with that, the mods will temporary remove me entry as me can edit me entry...
Too dark overall, and the light striking the foot doesn't match the "setting sun" effect BEHIND the mountains...
Nice work on the bigfoot, but it can't be fully appreciated when it's just dark and muddled looking.

Good blend! (Just fix the line across the top of his head).
Line at the very top of the image. You can see it in high rez. Nothing serious just just a minor detail
