I appreciate your feedback Drivenslush but my intention was to suggest that besides the main carton that you obviously see, there are more cartonfuls of bright ideas also coming along. I too liked the closed box myself but chose to blur it so that your attention would come back to the open carton in the foreground. Thanks!

Too dark for all those lit light bulbs. The light doesn't even extend past the carton...

For the sake of this picture Mossy B, I think we can obviously assume that these are low wattage bulbs which neither generate much heat nor light, much like your average christmas tree lights. I 've Googled this just to be sure, and their illuminating the environmnet as far as the carton would be just about right

Don't worry Mad, I don't get myself that much either, it makes for wonderful happenings every second of the day. I have to constantly entertain myself or I think of sad things and they hurt.

Colors and concept are wonderful as usual, but sometimes, it's your title that's fabulous!

@pearlie, the title is from my old boss who used to be a translator of English, French and Spanish, (she was a teacher in Acapulco) she used to bring in these funny magazines with bad translation, and websites as well, the speaker wanted to say "I forgot to salt the soup." but instead said, "I forgot to IN SALT the soup." I never forgot that or some of the others, (But I have to save them for titles of other projects ...also the fact that will all the Cell phones that are out there, it's funny to to over conversations that you have no clue what's going on LOL

OH its so funny because when i saw this in my side bar i got all curious as to what the writing was. and i giggled. and then to see you made it for ME, well then..i got even more excited. i honestly have to say, the name "Hellstrom" wins...and the wizard of oz reference in regards to daVinci

However i inspired you to do this, i would love to know. perhaps it was the infection. they were giving people the wrong antidote for that btw...found out that the commonly prescribed medications were only making things worse.

OMG, love this. Your image in Step 1 is perfect, somehow reminds me of a science lab with the bulbs added and the color you gave it. LOL, your zombie filter, hmmm, perfect for the zombie man? AND his little dog, too! Cool story text blocks, love this one!

Use a soft HIGHLIGHT DODGE brush to put the groves into the base of the bulb (only if you want to.. but I think it would really help the image and give the base a more 3d feel as suppose to a black space with wiggles), very funny concept all round
