author.. for an entry like this ... you really need to enter a High Res piece so we can see the work.. right now it's very blurry and we can't see the work.. good luck though.. I like the Idea you have taken...

Some very nice technique, but it seems a bit "flat," compositionally. Too symmetrical, with too much negative space at the top. Perhaps crop the top down a bit, move the eggs closer so they are more interactive, and maybe even rotate one over onto it's side.
As is, everything is so separated from everything else, it is too static.
Beautiful technique, though!
what MossyB said. however id say add a few shadows, darken the wood a bit to make somewhat realistic. and above all add a light source and put shadows. but the pearl's need to be made separate. while doing the shadows, make sure u get the shadows on the egg's too. they look like the light is from left and right which doesn't make sense to the eye.
the symmetry is fine however making one large might make this seem much more desirable.
