pearlie: I think this is a great idea, too, and should be considered for a weekly category. After all, the computer and graphics programs are also used in these types of work. Good idea, Toothpick134! ( 5 years and 3178 days ago )

This is a real recipe that I have actually made, for my Dad's birthday a year or two ago. He loves peanutbutter and chocolate (who doesn't?!) and I love to bake cheesecakes. This recipe puts a little twist on the traditional, and everyone was happy to take home a leftover 'personal cheesecake'. It was a big hit!

The photo is mine (original in sbs), complete with the wine stained tablecloth and crumbs! I created the logo based on a phrase my dad taught me to say when I was very young, after he kissed my hand - "Charmed, I'm Sure!" (5 years and 3178 days ago)

Jungle foliage source photos by Acretian Disc, Intrepid Flame, and blue' at flickr.com; The cooking pot for the Elephant Stew is by Taking leave at flickr.com; and wood structure for firewood by Kethera at flickr.com; the elephants are from a source photo by Stephen and Claire Farnsworth at flickr.com; Thanks to you all.

Here is the recipe which is also on the tree in the image:

Elephant Stew
1 elephant 2c. salt 2c pepper

Cut elephant into 1 inch cubes, frequently adding pinches of salt and pepper. (This should take about 12 days.) Add enough brown gravy to cover. Cook over a very hot fire for about 4 weeks.

If more than 3,800 guests are expected, 2 rabbits may be added. Do this only if necessary, as most people do not like to find hare in their stew!! Incidentally, you will need a big pot for this!

This was in an old cookbook which I remembered when I saw the contest category. Thought it would be fun, and hope it doesn't offend anyone. (5 years and 3178 days ago)
