great image i think it is too desaturated but maybe that's the way you like it, a fav anyway
edit : much better author .... good call , making it a night scene
I kinda like the desaturation, but the leaves coming out of nowhere are a bit distracting. Would be nice if you had shown how you made the tentacle-like things in a SBS, too. Over all it's a good image.
Thanks for the SBS, and the new background is an improvement IMO, but you've still got the leaves coming out of nowhere on the rooflines.
It seems you really worked hard for tentacle. It looks so realistic. Btw lovely atmosphere here. Good chop!!
Sweet looking image! Having seen so much ivy while growing up, leaves seeming to come from nowhere are not really an issue. IMO, the duplication of exact same ivy position on 2 buildings is something that should be addressed, maybe warp, or freeform rotation? Still, awsome job author!!!
Beautiful work, VERY well done!
dats a lotta fun!!!!
thanks all....
>CMYK,....yupzz...total changes on the BG have been done,..including the unwanted leaves ...thanks..
Very appealing magical, fairy-tale feel even if I don't get the title. She seems lost in, and thus irrelevant to, the image. A bit more variation between the three main houses would better evoke a handmade quality IMO. The lens flares on the brightest stars seem overpowering, especially when her lantern and the houses' attic lights don't even flare at all.
The lighting actually seems a bit odd. The upper left sky is the brightest yet the right sides of the roofs are illuminated. One would think the house directly behind her would be rather shadowed regardless of the location of any overhead light source. The modest shadow on the vine holding up the middle house is especially inconsistent given the strong shadows on the bushes.
great entry!!!
Like the swirly tubes Though, you could change the houses so each one is slightly different
