The alligator is so close to the edge of the water, that his left legs must be embedded deep into the mud...You need to give him a little more maneuvering room on that side, or else he'll never be able to haul himself out of the water to snack.

LOL...do you know how hard it is to find a suitably menacing alligator pic with the right lighting? Let's just suppose the water's deep enough to hide his legs...as a matter of fact his front legs are probably facing rearwards because they're busy propelling him toward his snack. Yeah, that's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!

The edge of the lily is too sharp, a wee bit of blur along the edge would help it blend better with the image.
A very low opacity warming filter would also help with the tones, which are a bit cool for the background.

Good concept, but the tower photo is very noticeably more blurred in comparison to the twin towers in front of it. You should try to find two photos with similar focus...
