very good idea -- maybe some blur on the cut edges (Tops) of the books would improve this as they seem too sharp compared to the edges of the towels used for the spines of the books.
Great idea and takes lot of time to do it I would say. Only thing, it's too blurry and looks like not the real thing. If you can do something to correct this, believe me, your entry will get to the top. That's my personal opinion. Good luck author!
Great manipulation. Probably having "gradual" shadow for each bookshelf section to show the depth and very transparent reflection of the shorter books might make the image a bit more realistic. And also, having shadow that match the overall image for the ladder that fall of the books might also help?
A bit too cut and paste with the color patterns too repeated and regular. This would be stronger if you flipped the repeats and used Hue and Saturation to vary the colors somewhat.
The blue stripes by the mouth are inconsistent with the rest of the image - They look like some are growing out of her face, with only one coming out of her mouth, but the blue lower lip makes that look weird, as well. The blur on the left hand side doesn't help. This just doesn't illustrate your concept as well as it could.
Without and SBS there is really know way to tell you how to fix the distortion issues on the sitting person. Distort/Warp/Puppet could help correct the odd body angles(his faded outline edges are a bit weird compared to the rest of the realism in the room.. also the lack of shadows cast by the standing figure makes him float...
While the concept (love the room walls) is quite good, the execution is a bit muddled. A little tender care might help this image a lot. (Good Luck)

cool idea... but looks faded-foggy. You can use "curves" to jazz-up the colors
very clever

very good hard work!
Clever concept, I would take the advice about shadows though a few little tweaks will make all the difference. Well done and GL
wonderful work
