great idea ..... the egg still looks a bit flat. maybe stronger shadows too , otherwise very cool image .

Might be good to make the inside of the mouth a bit darker, but it's a fun image. GL author.
EDIT: On second look, if you take the smudge tool and make the edges of the blood stain conform to the water ripples, you'll have a much better pic.
