In my opinion, the detail in the hands is almost too much...kind of creepy in a way. If the detail in the hands weren't there, it would be awesome, powerful and romantic. It is just kinda creepy to me, almost as if seen by the eyes of a vampire.

I agree with the comment above, maybe some selected high pass (inverted obviously) would help it. IMHO

Instead of a dark vignette, why not a light one?
