This contest is about taking one of your own photos and use Photoshop to enhance it. It can be your portrait, but it can be anything else as well.
You are allowed to do whatever you want with your photo BUT you are not allowed to use other sources.
Use filters, remove items, all in camera features and all other Photoshop features are allowed as well BUT stacking photos and stitching are not allowed.
Since no outside sources are allowed a step by step is required. Include your original image uncut and unaltered as is always required when using your own image.
Drivenslush: err umm.. what exactly is Stacking and Stitching? ( 5 years and 2802 days ago )
Nator: This a very cool! ( 5 years and 2801 days ago )
Contest Moderator: @Drivenslush: stacking is putting several images together using different layers see this contest http://www.pxleyes.com/photography-contest/19988/focus-stacking-macro.html and stitching is merging several photos together to get a panorama, see this contest http://www.pxleyes.com/photography-contest/19084/mountains-pano.html ( 5 years and 2801 days ago )
iquraishi: do we have to use just single image of ourselves and work on it or the contest means that all the sources should be pictures taken by us? ( 5 years and 2801 days ago )
Contest Moderator: The description is very clear "This contest is about taking one of your own photos and use Photoshop to enhance it... You are allowed to do whatever you want with your photo BUT you are not allowed to use other sources." That means ONE PHOTO and NO OTHER SOURCES AT ALL. ( 5 years and 2801 days ago )
Alan2641: There should a least be a SBS to show what you started with -- how else can we judge the improvement (IMHO) ( 5 years and 2801 days ago )
CMYK46: Alan is right. Without showing the original photo in SBS, there's no way to judge the result! ( 5 years and 2801 days ago )
Contest Moderator: Yes Bob, Alan2641 is correct. That should have been understood since any time you use your own source it is required to post the original, uncut and unaltered in a step by step. To clarify that it has been added to the description. Thanks to you both for pointing this out. ( 5 years and 2801 days ago )
jadedink: Liquify is allowed? ( 5 years and 2800 days ago )
Contest Moderator: @jadedink- The description does state "...all other Photoshop features are allowed as well..." so liquify would be included. ( 5 years and 2800 days ago )
Nator: Can I use layers of the same image for this contest. ( 5 years and 2798 days ago )
EmiK: It's not much of a photoshop contest if we can't even use layers of the same iamge, I figured we can. =) ( 5 years and 2797 days ago )
Nator: SO what is stacking photos mean...I have no idea ( 5 years and 2797 days ago )
Nator: It says no other photos on other layers but what about the same photo ( 5 years and 2797 days ago )
k5683: okay, big question is layers....can there be layers of the same image edited, enhanced or changed, or can there be no layers other than the basic contrast, levels, saturation, etc? ( 5 years and 2796 days ago )
Contest Moderator: You can use layers with the photoshop tools, but you can only use the one photo. ( 5 years and 2796 days ago )
rusvelt2000: Too much misunderstandings in this contest! That's why it lacks of creativity. ( 5 years and 2796 days ago )
rusvelt2000: Sorry! Too many sounds better! ( 5 years and 2796 days ago )
Contest Moderator: Any entry submitted after 2000hrs GMT Friday 29th June will be removed. ( 5 years and 2794 days ago )
summus: when does this ends? ( 5 years and 2792 days ago )

Great work - I have a thing about my wrist being grabbed, or even touched, so that part makes me nuts, but the hand and all the work you did there is much easier to view! Yes, a little creepy, and that's part of its allure.
author, can you state how you done the step 6 in your sbs, for my additional knowledge i really want to know how it done exactly. i'm thinking that is done with brush (i'm not sure) and what brush did you used.

Can't reach the device from which I created it untill monday, however, I've created a own brush for it, but it's very similar to whichever fur brush you can find online. I also used a tablet to paint it.
