Looking through your sources I can't see how you used the smoke brush, It looks more like a filter effect to me.... so do you really need the link?

Headlights on the sides of the vehicle?

Nice image, but I agree with cmyk46. The headlights look like it's on the side of the bus along with the doors. Really supposed to be the same angle as the tires.

this would look better if you removed the headlights nearest the door..
