Contest goal:

We all have our favorite movies, take one of them and imagine you can make a movie which comes before it or after it. Your job is to make the movie poster of this new movie. The movie poster you create must be of a non existing movie (not even a planned one) but the original movie must exist.
Please mention the original existing movie your prequel/sequel is based on.

Naruto: could we use the actors pic from anywhere?? ( 5 years and 2308 days ago )
Contest Moderator: No copyrighted images are allowed just as always. You'll have to find acceptable photos of the actor you want to use. Many stock sites have acceptable photos of celebrities, try Flickr using the advanced search feature and also http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page. Always double check the license on sources you wish to use. ( 5 years and 2308 days ago )
rjapzdesign: Cool Idea for a contest, but I dont understand where it say's a non existing movie, but then the original movie must exit. It don't make sense to me, can you explain a little, thanx ( 5 years and 2306 days ago )
CMYK46: Might be a good idea to mention the title of the original movie so we know what the entry is based on. ( 5 years and 2306 days ago )
rjapzdesign: I found 4 star wars characters that are not copyrighted images, like Obi Wan, Mace Windu, Anakin and Yoda. Can I use these characters for the poster, and name the title similar to the original star wars episodes movies/poster titles? ( 5 years and 2306 days ago )
Contest Moderator: @ rjapzdesign- This shouldn't be hard to understand. For example: King Kong is a movie that exists but there are plans for a prequel and possibly a sequel so you can't use that prequel or sequel film.
The recent movie Oblivion currently has no plans for a sequel or prequel so you could use that film to create a sequel.
There is a sequel planned for Star Wars so you can't use that Star Wars sequel for this contest.
You can find 50 planned sequels here: http://www.nextmovie.com/blog/upcoming-movie-sequels/
You can check the movie title you wanted to make a sequel to by using Google,
search "(movie title) sequel" i.e. "Bladerunner sequel" ( 5 years and 2304 days ago )
