Although only able to sprint relatively short distances before resorting to the proverbial water waddling. This rare Arabian water snail exhibits an example of it's tremendous bursts of speed along the surface of the water. Before an excursion, the snail is fed up to fifty percent of its body weight in vegetable waste. The perspective on the incense bowl and the candle holder should be the same. The bottom of the oval thing holding the candle would be in shadow, as the bowl, right now it seems to be floating, and too far forward. The shadows of the objects show 3 different light sources.

Ok. get the whip..... My shadows and perspectives again... that is my weak side. I try to get things together, have to study perspective and shadows... thanks for help Bob.

Using warp to "PUSH" the base of the top candle holder into the right direction will be helpful to shape (Puppet warp if you need to do real detail work) Your eyes will guide you (always save a PSD file before you start working on it so you can start again if you screw up, I do all the time.) hehehe. Distort/perspective tools work too, but they have a tendency to do TOO good of a job and screw up the shaping. (the tops go wonky) Distort (squeezing the base) of the incense burner might help as well. When you get the position right, use burn (set on highlight) to darken the base to ground it. Since you have a candle (light source) and a burning incense (another light source) and the room lighting (third light source) shadows are a mystery. The only one that really sticks out is the snails shadow, it could be made by the candle light as well as the room light, the shadows would criss/cross and dissipate. You brave little chopper you.
I'm sure other choppers can help as well. You probably already know how to do it, you just need a little kick in right direction.
great job overall, it's a very neat looking image. Love the colors

Thanks Driven. I have not done perspective work in a long time. I like to do these kinds of works. It is hard to do and makes you think. I will do the things you suggested, as one time, I forgot to save my work and flattened the image... aaaarrrggggghhhh.... poor me, I had to do everything again. I will check for some tips in the internet too. Working with perspective and lights.... Go to MacDonalds and get a double hamburger with double cheese and a cup of coffee.... and large fries too.... I pay for it ! UPDATE: Made some changes to the image already.....

Author, it's much better now. You can see the perspective on the tops of the two objects is still different. The shapes of the ellipses should be proportional. Also, the light source from the left is stronger than the candlelight, so the snail shadow should be adjusted.

I am not going to talk about perspective here... hats off that you created everything from the given image. incense sticks are very nice..
There are sharp edges that pops out. By using the blur tool (mostly for the edges of far away objects) it could be fixed. The shadows are not consistent, you must take a look at that. Also the candle melting part needed more finished look. I would suggest you to have good references and remake it. I'm sure this will a finest entry in the end if you get the time to update.. I wish I had a tablet and could draw well as you do. It has taken me time to learn to do, or at least trying, what I do. I appreciate your comments and your help. Nice eye to find out things that I do not see when I am working on this.... Thanks Anoop. Shadows are another weak part of me.

tablet comes handy while sketching.., but when its time to chop , pen tool is the king. you should consider clipping mask to include in your entries.., it saves a lot of time in shading and highlighting. I am not a master with shadows either, but the way to master it is the observation I think. find as many photographs and study it. good luck to you author, keep ur entries coming..
