Very nicely done and original thinking! Little dragon fits in well with the other sculptures. My only critique is that the edge where the sand meets the little dragon might be a little soft. If you look at the sculpture in the foreground the edges there are more distinct. Just a minor point, personally this is the entry I like most.

Nice image, surrealistic, yet realistic, ...at the risk of being anal, I'm going to nitpick on a couple of areas, the image of the girl seems to be showing through the background pix, it can be seen superimposed on the door on our right, and the bench would actually interfere with the opening of the door. The shadows of the hand with shell, and hand with fish should be a warmer grey to match the overall warm scene.
The door on the left should cast a shadow on the hand.
I know I'm being very picky, if so tell me to shut up,...just trying to help out.

Author this is a terrific chop, but you are going to have to double check your sources. They seem to be Copyright locked. Some are even download disabled. Make sure when you search for images on FLICKR that you filter them properly so that Modifications can be done with them. It doesn't have to be commercial use but you do have to have permission from the original author in order to use the images.
Even though you can download images at FLICKR that are protected, that doesn't mean you can use them in a PUBLIC contest.

You have the talent to fix this creation in time (the contest is still very active) so please make the proper changes.
I will hold my vote until the image is within the guidelines.

Hello author, you got a good idea here. Good luck and welcome to Pxleyes.

Author, it might be a good Idea to KEEP the detail in the fountain base to match the detail of the dragon fountain. All you have to do is put the original picture (The Cape Town Photo) in a layer under the whole creation, and just gently (soft brush) erase the top layer (the finished chop) in the area of the fountain. The blurring of the image causes a great depth of field but it then causes the Dragon fountain to float a bit. (NOT a big change, just a suggestion.)
This will also give you a chance to clean up the debris around the edges of the Dragon Pot (in HiRes you can see some wonky erasing). Also not a Big thing, but it will help you get higher votes.)
