Sci-fi movies and TV shows have shown us a great variety of spacecraft designs. Maybe you've thought about the kind of spaceship you would like to see. Well now is your chance to show us your ideas.
Create a space vehicle of your own design. It can be a huge starship like we've seen on Star Trek or Babylon 5. It could be a smaller ship with a small crew or even a one person star flyer. You can show us a warship or an exploration craft, it can be cool, futuristic and travel at warp speed or go for something funny that you might see on Futurama or in the movie Spaceballs and move ahead at ludicrous speed. If you like the old fashioned Rocketships as in Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers or something from the 1950's science fiction movies then create something along those lines.
The possibilities are endless, just open up Photoshop and your mind and (as Jean-luc Picard would say)… engage!

Congratulations, nice chop. I just popped in to see what's shaking and this brought back smiles and great memories. Good to see ya Chappy, been a long time.

Hey bud, good to see you too. Thanks for the favorite.
5.6. 3D Renders or Illustrations as Source:
Using other people's 3D renders or illustrations (even with permission and no matter in which form they are offered) creates a false impression of your artwork. So 3D renders or illustrations can not be used as sources, unless they are entirely created by yourself. Only acceptable non-illustration brushes and clip art may be used, but you need to mention them as a source too. Don't use an image that has been altered by the source owner nor an entire work created by someone else.
author says:
I didn't use someone elses "render", the sources were 3D files as shown by the wireframes in the SBS, and I rendered myself as I have done many times with entries on this site in the past unless the rules have changed. Further, I created a unique image using portions (not whole) parts of the 3D files.
Have the rules changed in this regard since the site started back up?
The use of 3D wireframes or mesh has always been allowed. The author did not use 3D renders but rendered them using the wireframes to create the final image as is shown in the SBS.
5.7. Models Created with 3D Programs such as "Poser":
If you use a 3D program to create a model or render (eg. with Poser), post a screenshot of the wireframe, so we can verify it's not someone else's work.
Spacerig created using Autodesk 3D MAX and, for (texturing) in Photoshop 2015 CC.
