It is a nice image but technically the definition of "still life"- One of the principal genres (subject types) of Western art – essentially, the subject matter of a still life painting or sculpture is anything that does not move or is dead or composed of inanimate objects. A butterfly is a living animated creature.(I'm not sure if you meant the turtle to appear alive or not.)

Fun idea with this author, especially now that Halloween is just around the corner (though I'll never get those dern hanging bat decorations out of the bottom of the linen closet.. next year )... Great take on a rather lully source
