Author, please add the links for the moon, cow, stars, the mad hatter on the book cover and the castle. I think you forgot to turn on the layer for the wolf's shadow.
OK, I added source links in the description for the moon, cow, stars, the Mad Hatter on the book. The stars were made in PS. First Layer of smaller stars was made by Noise > Levels > Blur. Then a 2nd Layer with larger stars was made by Noise > Levels > Blur > Outer Glow. The 2nd Layer was masked so that only the white stars showed. The stars show up much better in the hi-res version.
Maybe I should make a tutorial for the stars. After-all, if they fooled a Photoshop Genius like yourself, they must be pretty good huh?
Lot of work here, I like what you've done. Check the masking/blending around the mad hatter's feet though.
Thanks lchappell. I've only ever been "fair" at making shadows. I am assuming you were talking about the shadows making her look like she was "floating" rather than blending into the ground. I believe I fixed it. Good eye and thanks again.
Author there is improvement on the shadow/grounding effect. Maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me, but in hi-res I am still seeing a fine light color trace along the shoes. Maybe the burn tool or a small clone stamp along the edges in the shadows would take care of that. Nice composition, good luck.
I zoomed in pretty far and don't see any white fringing on the shoes. Here is a zoomed in image. Thanks for your help.
