Check out the SBS to see how this was made. All source. Butterfly's wings are made from the axe head, warped, with some color brushing. Butterfly's body is totally made from wooden axe handle with some brushing. Background is the source image, which was blurred, and some Bokeh painted in. Made the bush from the source's grass. Very creepy looking. It looks like it could be a horror movie poster. It makes me wonder who or what she is going to chop up for lunch. Well done. Maybe just add a bit of back light on the girl so it looks like the moonlight is shining on her back like in the tutorial? It will make her stand out a bit more.
Thanks for you advice Skyangel. I didn't want to show as much light as on the tutorial around the girl, but as you insisted I have added some and it looks better I think
I just discovered that 50 is the maximum amount for the SBS.
Excellent work.
TY skyangel. Appreciate the comment.
Wonderful work, it's very pretty... I want one to add to my collection. Great sbs, I didn't know there was a limit... but then this is the first sbs I've seen with 50 steps.
TY MM... or should I say "Madame Butterfly"? The SBS was 56 steps. When I tried to upload the 51st, it said something about the limit being reached. I still had a few more steps on how the fence post was made, but those weren't really necessary, so I condensed it to 50 steps. I wanted to show how the axe/post was "rounded off" on the edges. If you look at the top of the post it looks flat, but the sides look sort of rounded is what I am talking about.
Great job!
You could add the final steps as an animated gif in the final step. Not necessary, just a suggestion
very inventive considering that there was not much to work with...
Thanks HL.
Congrats BWR
TY MM. I try real hard. Every chop is a struggle.
Congrats to you my friend!
