Contest goal:
Everyone has heard about optical illusions. An optical illusion (also called a visual illusion) is characterized by visually perceived images that differ from objective reality. The information gathered by the eye is processed in the brain to give a percept that does not tally with a physical measurement of the stimulus source. More info can be HERE.
Your goal is to design an optical illusion. It might be an existing one or a totally new illusion. Keep in mind that your illusion's effect should be clear to the mind and original illusions would be much better than known ones.

From the darkness of shadow that we see as hair to the brilliant outline of a female face to the leaves strategically placed and the inclusion of two sparrows to take us full circle to confuse us to show us this is not Elena but branches with birds...and so our minds go cyclically with this illusion. Simply brilliant!
That was my idea my friend... thanks... and yes, the dark spot, was intentionally placed to suggest hair....
