I love the story this one tells. Very amusing.
A couple of adjustments are needed.... The muzzle of the front bear is fading into the fish too much. It needs to be sharper, less faded.
The foot of the bear at the back has obviously been cloned from the foot of the front bear but the claws are facing the wrong direction. They need a horizontal flip.
Noooo, the cat is just flabbergasted by the presence of the fish in such an unusual place, he his not scarred at all. He is just nervous as he'd like to catch them. Hope he doesn't before the vote is over...
VERY nice composite. Well done. The plants are extracted very well and that doesn't look easy. Good shadows on the grass under the bench. Fish are cut out perfectly. Nice overall temperature. Fantastic color matching. I'm impressed. I never vote till after the deadline for entries because people may make changes, but I can't wait to find out who made this.

...and I was thinking all along of all the reproaches you would find about the plants, the shadows etc... (I swear it it true). When you look at the main source image (the bench and the cat), the photo itself has character, as it is full of grain and undercontrasted. The challenge was to find a balance between the fish and this source image Thanks for the compliments, it means a lot coming from you.

I also wait for the entries to turn yellow before I vote. But I always know when you've done it
The noise was a good "selling point" when I looked at your final image vs the sources. The background was relatively noise free as well as most of the fish. The cat scene and that bending fish were chock full of noise. You took care of that and balanced it well in your final image as you said. And to me, cutting out all the frilly stuff on the seahorse and jelly fish is a plus as not everyone does that.
I need to make a rubber stamp image with "BWR Approved" on it. Something like this. www.goo.gl/wG11bk
Warning.....Never sunbake on a road in winter. It is not a good place to sunbake. Wrong season for it too. If you do feel compelled to do such a thing, make sure you look out for stray trains which should not be on the snow covered road. (5 years and 562 days ago)
Pretty cool chop. Must have been a pain in the butt to cut out that train.
author says:
Thanks BWR. The train was not too hard to cut out using channel masks. Thankfully the sky and the top of the train had good contrast.
Channel masks are great.
Channel masks say the computer moron?! WOW will have to look that one up. I think this is a smack dab great entry on many levels. The technical is to my eyes very well done and I can see the shadow of hat on snow and it is correct. I also am taken with the colour palette, blue of course is cool and the icing on this well baked cake is that hat and arm....huh?! OUTTA place or what?!

Thanks Olga. If you are unsure about channel masks, check this tutorial....

Channel masks work best on images with good contrasting areas.
hehehe.. great use of the sources.. you may want to experiment with Sepia toning of the homeless guy to give him a little more "yellow" to match up with the "French Provincial" environment... it looks great the way it is, but if you look at the paler of castle room, it has kind of sepia haze running through it so that the homeless guy kind of pops out of the environment... which might be your goal and I should just STFU.. sorry for my babble... had a doc appointment that was suppose to be 15 minutes and it turned into 4 hours so I'm a bit loopy ..

I did some changes... I think you got it right... I hope I did.... thanks Driven....
Add a yellow tone for a better « French provincial environment » ha ha !!!
Indeed, this looks exactly like my referring physician’s waiting room. This is a typical French doctor’s waiting room actually: old mismatched pieces of furniture, rococo tapestry, dusty fireplace, antique carpets… And our doctors use to receive there old ladies, kids, gentlemen, homeless people and punks as well. Nothing out of place in this chop from my point of view.
Dear friend and author, I suggest you would come and visit sometime along with Drivenslush. I would be glad to organize a Doctors Waiting Rooms Tour for you, and probably the other French Pxleyes team members such as Denlig and Lolu too.
Thanks for making me smile this morning

Thanks Angel.... will do some corrections....
I am quite taken with the narrative of your upload and your imagination is brilliant.
Thanks...
Nice work blending the fur after cutting the bears out. If you used the smudge tool to add to the height/ tips of their fur, you did a masterful job.
Howdie stranger!
