The day of the dead is celebrated in Mexico on November 2. It is a very colorful celebration of joy, for those members of families who have died. It is to remember them and to stay together even in the after life. Many cities around Mexico, decorate altars with food and things that the loved ones loved when they were alive. Flowers of marigolds basically, are used to decorate graves and make crowns with them. Light of candles illuminate cemeteries at night, singing and talking to the dead is a common thing. People paint their faces with colorful designs of the death. Wearing crowns of marigolds and jewelry, dance in the streets and pay respect to the dead. The background is painted with a brush, the decoration over the face, also, painted with a brush..... (5 years and 450 days ago)
