really need to rethink the title... sad is such an understatement.. doesn't do the piece justice.. it's like calling the Mona Lisa "This Chick I Met who grinned at Me" hehehe.. really is wonderful and the attention to detail is quite inspiring..the work is very dedicated.. good luck
Mainly used the source image only with some smudge and extra burning effects. Got the lamp from www.istockphoto.com and receipt is in SBS.
Thanks to Falln-Stock for the smoke brushes!! (5 years and 3841 days ago)
nice idea with the steam rising. .good luck author (uyou might want to add a red light glow hiting the frog from the lamp, but don't do it if it messes up that amazing smoke effect.. the high res is amazing
EDIT: Yippee!!!.. it was great before hehehe.. now just that much better..GOOD LUCK
really an emotional piece. I wonder if you could puddle the dripping more at the base, it's really cool but they look more like tentacles then drippings.. IMHO.. wondering if they should pool more instead of stretching out ward. but I could be wrong good luck
wonderful effect..just a little suggestion.. take it or leave it.. maybe keep SOME of the face real.. like you did with the hair so we can see the transition form normal to ripple to melt.. it would add to the wonderful effect you got going (Oh the shadowed melt chunk off the left shoulder is amazing!!).. just an idea... good luck
EDIT: tell the model that tongue piercings are so 2002
giggle snort
The ocean ripple idea is very creative. I think keeping the upper edges of the fingers smoother would look more realistic. The 'solar flare' thing happening now runs counter to the image's emphasis on the pull of gravity.
this is a great picture to work with...his expression is perfect, but the transition from the melted puddle to the legs needs a little more help. maybe the smudge tool would help blend them together better? Anyway, good luck
nice!!
blue love is very blueautiful thing... and sad thing... good idea!
