I think you have the right idea but the melting part should match the main piece. it looks like yellow paint, not melting statue, though I will say the expression on the face is EXCELLENT.. good luck..
Wait till others see it, they will help you with the fixing.. I suck at melting things.. and would have no Idea how to guide you
Watch out when you melt things, that the shape wont completely disappear or that the melted part turns into a shapeless blob. The subtle parts around the head are ok, the part around the legs is smart, because you used shadow to stress the dripping part more, but the statue's right arm/wing is a bit messy. I'd recommend to keep that also more subtle. Good luck!
Smudge, warp, and liquify does not a melt make. Perhaps you can check "melt" tutorials for tips on making this work a little better. Good luck., author! : )
good work
you are good for comment that picture!
RIGHT ON TARGET
good one
Very nice, good work
what is that on top of his head
Maybe if you showed more of a wick at the top of the head the fire wouldn't look too much like a blurred light...good luck!!
nice melt
omg, this is creepy like hell! but I guess this is the desired effect, so...way to go!
