A goofy idea, but I just had some fun with the picture!
I'm a novice in Photoshop, and I am stunned bu the quality of some of the work in here! I will learn a lot, no doubt!
The spiders are from my own picture, the boards were made from the waves and the sky, some smudging and changing of color/intensity. (5 years and 3791 days ago)
excellent work with the surf boards.. very nice reflections.. ur work is great.. maybe u could just the find an alternative for the spiders.. somehow i feel they do not fit well into this image.. gl
Thanks hsbee! I know, the spiders don't really fit, and yet that's why i wanted them there...and because of the the bright colors! :o)
Hey author.. we all start somewhere, I love the idea of the spiders.. but I really like weird stuff.. we all start somewhere.. good lucki
The waves fit perfect there! Great job!
Haha, pretty cool. Nice how you made the surf board. Watch out for the quality of the spider (looks a bit pizelated compared to the background). Your imagination is on the right place . Good luck! Ps you made the image of the spider yourself?
nice bugs funny and creative good job
good work

He's so soft and fluffy.. I have no idea but his hand just looks weird.. I think when you laid it over the clouds it lost some of it's defintion.. I love it in your SBS, it looks fantastic.. see if you can put some glow or something behind it to define it better.. it looks a little twisted/distorted when placed on the cloud background.. It's amazing work though.. GOOD LUCK
EDIT:I looked at it again in your SBS and it does look great, I'm thinking maybe it's the angle.. or it could be my eyes.. don't lose any sleep over it.. it's not that important, it's just my eyes go to it every time I look at the piece.. good luck
EDIT:Much improved!! the arch from arm up through the sword no longer distracts and now it flows.. good work author
very good, i would try shaping his head better though or add a neck.. and try putting the sword into his hand
hero! high! good luck!
Nice idea good luck!
looks great. It might be neat to see him in the whole picture.
good job
is he Poseidon? (the god of water from Greek mithology?)
U give me Many ideas.
No akasha, he isn't Poseidon. He have a spear with 3 prongs instead of the sword. However nice guess
good work
Nice idea. Maybe you can add some splashes above the head and shoulders, just like what you see from the real waves, you might increase the movement and dynamic with that (like it comes more out of the water). Good luck!
great
Idea is great, but I dont think you should have used this posture with the sword held so high. It takes away from the feel that he's coming out of the waves.
backside doesnt response with image
Nice. Great Job blending him in so good

very nice! go easy on the ocean color
Nice idea good luck!
enigmatic beauty... good luck!
Pretty, but now you have two light sources: the sun in the background from your snapshot and the light coming from the left in the source photo. Cloning out your sun would be the simplest solution. Also, the blackness of the near (not cloud-covered) ocean seems extreme given the brightness of the sky.
I agree the black ocean does not work. I do love the colors though.
Good color, bad light source...try to lighten the ocean in the background.
Nice mood although I should agree with Dan. But to remove the sun....would be a pity. What about moving it to the left side of the image, so the light comes a bit more from the original rirection? Also, would be nice if you could combine the sea from your own image some more with the source image, so that the sea is somewhat lighter. Good luck!
good work
nice mood
R]Very nice really relaxing

nice idea.. some suggestions: 1) i feel the clouds could remain within the picture itself.. the effect does not work well with the clouds.. 2) at high res, the water comin out of the picture appears blurred, probably because of resizing... This part of the ocean is most important in this effect, so it should be very sharp and clear.. hope it helps u.. gl
nice gl!
very playful and fun.. good luck author
nice
Like the idea =] well done
I agree with hsbee, the clouds dont look very good coming out of the frame, the water looks excellent tho
I really like this image!! IMO I would make the clouds on the outside of the frame as "thick" as they appear inside the frame..Hope that makes sense...Good Luck
nice idea
Great!
Funny effect. In case you want to keep on using the clouds outside the frame, then why not using the ones that are in front in the original image? There'll be a better connection than how it is now (going from dark suddenly to light). Good luck!
i think you should leave the clouds inside the water is enaugh to go out ncie work
nice
I would reverse the shadow of the frame because the emerging water has light from the left. Easily done if the shadow is still on a different layer. Good luck!
