ive seen loads of tutorials for this kind of image and i loved the look of them but i did this without using any of them. mainly cut and paiste, with grdiant tools and one brush used (5 years and 3909 days ago)
Gee whiz author..after doing all that beautiful work don't you think your creation deserves a better back ground...hehehehe.. you don't have to really, it's grand just the way it is.. gotta clean the fade above the fender and the top roof.. it's to sharp of a finish everywhere else to leave them that way.. just really an awesome piecce all round, AND I LOVE PLASTIC WRAP.. WOOO HOOO. and I don't care who knows it and I love it when people use it.. HRMPH!!!
The drop shadow needs to be softened more to stop the 'floating' effect of the splash. And perhaps not so strong with the plastic wrap as this is masking the good work you did underneath.

Nicely done! One small suggestion that might help solidify this effect...try masking out the shadow away from the white frame. Allowing the white frame on the right side (bottom) to be seen all the way to the tire. See if this works.
I like it.. and I think it works just fine for me.. but I'm a fringe dweller.. good luck author.. not very spooky.. more earthen and old newspapery in my book.. which is just another venue.. good luck
Nice job getting rid of the other car. Wrong shadow on the girl...look at the car shadow. Color's not bad, but could be deeper...GL.
thats a lot of purple lol... reminds me of that 'pimp my ride' show lol very nice work author
