I think the 'mysterious' concept requires more darkness and the overall image itself needs a stronger dark/light contrast for greater drama. With the strong light coming from the background, the mid- and foregrounds need to be increasingly darker.

I love this picture, but the portrait of the little girl lying down just doesn't look like she belongs. Like, I'm loving it, but then I keep looking at that part and wanting to see the picture without or with something that fits in better, either stylistically or thematically. Beautiful though.

thanks fille you have no idea how many layers i used to get everything blue lol..... otherwise it all came out just one shade. Alot of burning, dodging and saturating etc etc... but it's a way of learning new things

I like that this image could be naturally all blue if less-intense moonlight were streaming through the window. I'm confused about where the short, stocky angel is standing. She seems to be standing in the ray of light, except her face is behind the light and the hem of her gown is behind the shine on the floor. What is the source of the glow on her right (from our viewpoint) side?

I agree that this could be an interesting ad. The lavender 'wings' are not blue, however. And as an ad, I think it would work better if (at a minimum) her skin and hair were their natural color -- which would be counter to the requirements of this contest.
