Nice idea, work on the edges a little bit and it will be much better For those edges try and go along very close to them with a small brush with soft edges, it much work, dont cut too much into the foot tho, just a tiny bit

I did not use any external brushes for drawing the henna, i used photoshop's already provided shapes in the custom shape tool to make my own brush!!

I like the way you have tried to follow the skin contours with the tattoo.. Also I would use a bit of creative license and shave the left side of the santa hat off. Just leave the pompom out on the side! I am not too sure about the HDR look though? GL

Striving for realism, you really should have the tag hand written, I doubt if that type of tag would be computer generated.. but you never know.. if you had it hand wrtten. with a little pressure texture, it would aid to the realism.. life and death is never to graphic.. some times life is wasted on the living .. good luck.. and unique Idea

Grim. String loop should be reasonably taut as gravity pulls down the (admittedly rather light) tag. I agree with GolemAura that I would expect the tag to be handwritten (but I have no experience in this area). If I wasn't aware of the source pic, I would not recognize these as baby feet. Something that made that clearer (e.g., bigger, adult-size tag overwhelming the baby feet with additional data on the tag of sex and age) would make this more dramatic.

Thank you Dan.... Will try to make the tag bigger, I am not sure about the handwritten tag, it is difficult to write over the tag, even with a small brush. Any suggestions about using a font that looks like handwritten text....?

Yes there are some realistic hand written fonts. I think you might also want to wash out some of the colour. I believe the bodies have more a clamy grey colour. [if thats a colour??] The shadow from the tag looks good, but i think it also makes the highlights and shadows on the other foot wrong. With the intensity of the light, you might want to add some very light fibre texture or similar to the tag? Just an idea.. GL.

Very well done, the only problem is the fact he was found 'inside a trash can' there should be a more creative reason i think, but either way, the effects is really nice and the feet don't just look mirrored, which improves the realism. Well done!
