My first memories that stayed with me were my memories of my uncle Joe. I think he was an unhappy man and I don't think he liked kids either. Every time my dad and mom brought me over to his house for a visit he always greeted me with the same welcoming look. And now I'll share that look with you. :)

I searched everywhere of a picture of my brother with a teething ring on his head when he was a baby. That same teething ring was passed down to me.
the only reason I remember it was because the color of the ring still triggers happy memories (I do remember being in pain and squishing the ice cold plastic in my semi toothless mouth, and the salvation storm it caused. My mother said she had to pull out a mop every time I got a hold of it... and also eating a whole stick of butter when she wasn't looking)
