Good job! I don't really like the flag though, the challenge is to create wrong shadows, and the flag doesn't really fulfill that, but really good job on the golfer, it's a great idea. Good luck!!

You are so right ponti55, I removed the flag and the golfball; looks better now thanks!
Pretty good thinking! I'd rather play tennis, myself. Woodrow Wilson said: "Golf is a game in which men attempt to manipulate a ball with instruments ill designed for the purpose".

I'd rather play golf when i retire...... & the tennis court is looking good at the moment.Nice thinking great work on this!!
hahahahha, love it, tho i would recomend using the clone tool to remove the shadow of the ball between her leg and the golf club. bc the shadow of the hole should be used as the ball for the perspective angle. just my thoughts

Very good idea and well done. I play both but prefer golf ~~Golf is like a love affair. If you don't take it seriously, it's no fun; if you do take it seriously, it breaks your heart. Good luck very good
Well I have fixed the few problems that ppl told me about and well tell me what you think. Comments that will help me improve in photoshop and manipulating images are highly appreciated. THANKS (5 years and 3805 days ago)
The idea is good, especially this dancing shadow. But have a look at the original shadows. To match them to the existing one, maybe you could make them more blueish and maybe also a little bit more leant to the left side, so they look more natural in comparison to the persons shadow with the orange shirt. Beside that... I don't get the duck shadow at all, cause there is nothing, that could cast a shadow. Maybe you could add a dog there, so it'll look like someone is feeding the dog, but the dog casts a duck shadow or something like that. Good luck

Well Lelaina there suppose to be a a person standing there casting the shadow on the corner but i guess it's a little hard to see Thanks for the comment

Nice image great creativity would agree the shadows do need a little tweaking
just sample the original shadow color and it will look great! also, change the direction the shadows are being cast because it would be pretty much impossible for the guy in the orange shirt to have his shadow in another direction
well first off to help you improve your photoshop, is that your shadows are going in the WRONG direction, and they arent blue like the real shadow on the top left...

I have been thinking about the changes that I did and looked at the title of the contest isn't it called "Wrong Shadows"? Well I made the changes all of you suggested.
try to change the picture of a dog with one that was taken form above. now it looks copy-paste-like and perspective is wrong.

This is much better than it was when I saw it yesterday. Did you clone out some of the middle upper? I'm seeing some repeated patterns, you may want to break those up a bit.
i like the image, its interesting. tho i think you should had put shadows and perspective as votes as well. i like the shadows and the perspective on your image... high marks for that
Superb image Only thing that puts me down is the brown "lightsource". It drops out of style and color to me. On the other hand the games the shadows play, the blueish color... gourgeous!
robvdn, I was trying for three steps.. (perfect real (the lamp)/semi realistic (cartoon figure with 3d effect)/ to faded surreal (the shadow and light)) (I'll admit, the lamp is super realistic (one of the versions I was working on had about 5 of them but it didn't look like Alfred Hitchcock.. more like star wars .. thank you very much for your comment robvdn.. (of course everyone else as well
It's a good idea & pretty well done! personally i think the shadow is a little bit to big & domintes the image all i am doing is looking at the shadow & not the image as a whole
annabat [banned] says:
The idea is clever, but on first glance I didn't know that the shadow was of a lightbulb. (until I read your description) good perspective, but too large and maybe not as recognizable on first glance as it should be.
great idea, as mentioned the bulb is much to large for the candle itself. try fixing the perspective of the bulb. my thoughts would be using SKEW to get the correct angle's
BRAVO!!!!
