The image looks really great but wondering about the use of source. That aspect is poor in my views; there's hardly anything left of it and you could have used any source to do this image. If it had been a theme contest entry you would have gotten a much higher score and better comment from me.

Hi author, I think you did a good and wonderful job. The image source does not have much field to choose from, also, it is not that you and some of us used a particle of the image source and did something that does not look like it at all, but it is the time that you spend at the computer, thinking, and thinking, and at the end, you do these wonderful images. Thank you for showing your abilities to create something different!!!

my problem is: could you have made this with ANY other source? I think the answer is yes and therefor the use of the source is weak. If you've set the brush to scatter there wouldn't be that repetative pattern in the leaves. In other words: not my piece of cake

Thanks for comments again.... Robvdn don't be sorry.... it is the way it is, the source image does not have many objects to work with. Could I have done this work using other sources? Yes! I could. But the main thing here is that I used the image source in part. As many of us do. I just got this idea, we are here to learn, to appreciate constructive and non-constructive commnents and suggestions.... It is like Art, some like Picasso...some don't.... I am happy with what I have done here at the contests, and again, thank all of you for critics and comments. Good luck to everyone!!!!

Author let me be clear: I wasn't judging your image, just the use of source. You are right about we're here to learn and we all have different tasts. If something like this would have been posted in a theme contest you would have gotten a complete different comment by me Just my personal view, hope you're not offended. Didn't mean to.

Although the image is well done, I believe the use of source is very poor. This could have been made with anything and the source is not recognizable in any way. These type of entries belong in theme contests, not source contests.

yup hard to see the source but nice work, I still have to get myself to make such a work... anyhow I seem to miss some depth compare with the bg then again o.o; i wouldnt know how to make depth in space XD

The black stroke around the grades at the right part doesn't look good, maybe try to use a gray color to match more the metal.
The hand's shadows on the metal are not looking good, try to make it more realistic. Great idea overall, love it

It's a good idea, but the extension of the arms doesn't work. The edges go abruptly from sharp to blurry, and there's no hair on the extended parts.

shadows need work, the arms are way too blurry, where the railing falls into the background is too dark

I added a soft glow effect when the image was done by taking a version of the image and blurring it by about 7 pixels, then changing the belnd mode to soft light, if you're referring to the blur of the arm itself, i was trying to show where the camera was focussing when the picture of the actual source was taken. Thanks for the comment.
